This game plays like HSG. HSG Fore feels like a better game in a lot of ways. It looks like HSG. I don't even REALLY feel like I wasted my money. I have been REALLY playing this franchise since HSG3.
This could be nothing more than a PBCAK error (Problem Between Chair and Keyboard for the uninitiated), but there seems to be little out there to help me find help. light-heartedness, humor, depth, and a wide array of golfers to choose from.And in a PS. I am having a really hard time getting my purchased add-ons to show up. In many regards this is a good thing.
Sharper graphics that appear a tad less cartoony (although still firmly rooted in the anime style), the new advanced shot mode that really delivers the goods once you adjust to it, and all the clubs, balls, and customization one would come to expect from the HSG franchise.However, they leave you with a feeling of a very basic game that was released before it's due. I love the mechanics and overall gameplay that spawned from this game and I have never regretted owning a single one. But I don't LOVE it. God knows it couldn't be further from the truth. And lest we not forget a LOT of various game modes, including mini-golf, which helped break up the mediocrity and the ability to have everyone unlocked before you even TOUCHED a tournament. Sure this game a gorgeous and still a very solid golf game with an above average online mode, but the characters I grew attached to have been yanked, the humor all but gone (there's not a single caddy I can say so far that I am all that fond of), and the amount of single player and same console multiplayer modes feel like a ghost town.As you can tell from my overall opinion of this game, I don't hate it.
My only hope is that enough people feel the same as I do and Clap Hanz and SCEA realize that while they took several steps in the RIGHT direction on one path, they shouldn't neglect the other path altogether. It felt deep.
Bring back what made HSG stand out as a golf game. If I have to unlock them fine, but they should tell you that when you download them.
A great golfing engine is only half of it and honestly, in this market, isn't enough to be a stand out title. That being said.WHERE is the HSG I knew and loved.
I really do like this game. It was a pretty game with serious golfing engine attached with some wit and humor thrown in.
But it's NOT the HSG from before. It made me laugh, even when I was ready to fling my controller out the window because of a crappy shot.
I have never played golf in real life before so this game taught me what under par means and why different drivers are used. My fiance plays it for a few hours every sitting and enjoys it. So it was even educational. If you have played hot shots golf games before, this one is just as fun. The graphics are better and more detailed.You earn better golfers as your score gets better.
Inclusive, Hot Shots Golf para PS2 tiene una opción donde se puede jugar hoyos par 3 con topografía y dificultades especiales, también otra opción donde sólo se juegan con puros Putts evadiendo obstáculos y enfrentando también variaciones topográficas. Las gráficas son, lógicamente, mejores, pero para el que ha jugado Hot Shots Golf en PS2 no apreciará en este juego el mismo cambio que experimentó con el paso de la consola PS2 a PS3.No se trata de hacer una comparación entre las dos versiones de Hot Shots Golf, pero creo que podría servir de ayuda para el que lo ha jugado en PS2.En fin, este juego en sí es excelente, disfruto mucho y paso mucho tiempo jugándolo.
Para el que no lo jugó antes y compra este no se arrepentirá nunca. Le di 4 estrellas simplemente porque no superó mis expectativas después de haberlo jugado y disfrutado tanto en PS2.
Es un juego muy divertido. En esta tenemos jugadores diferentes y más chistosos.

Sometimes, the game can be frustrating at times in challenge mode, when you get OB, WH. Characters such as Felipe and Suzuki got some comical lines especially if play with multiplayer with family or friends. But I just reset the game by pressing all at once, R2, R1, L2, L1, start and select and it will go to the main menu.If you love golf, pick this up only at a reasonable price, also check IGN for in depth review of this game and more. I bought this based on IGN review and also when it was a great price. This game is not worth 60 bucks more like 20 bucks.Now on to the game, the characters are fun and easy to use.
PS3 is powerful, so the graphics could be improved to make good becomes great. Personally, I feel it is more fun than other official golf titles and more casual to play. I bought this game with a great deal on Amazon's Gold box. The game is fun, addicted and rated Everyone, good for family time.
